Well, nothing much...like most people do here in the United States, study in this new desh. I still remember those days when I was aspiring to come here, preparing my Statement of Purpose, took two months off from work to work on my Architectural Portfolio, and prepare for GRE and TOEFL. Its one of those things that everyone who comes here does and probably never forgets !

Now, I pursue Master of Urban Planning at the Urban and Regional Planning Program of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. I hope to finish my post graduation in two years… atleast some aim to start with.

I am an Architect by profession. I completed my professional Bachelors education in Architecture from Sir J. J. College of Architecture, Mumbai (formarly Bombay), INDIA. I also worked at home for a couple of years in a well known Architectural firm before I decided that I had to learn more. To find out the most updated information about me, take a look at my resume.

Currently, I am working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant for Michelle Barnes of Great Lakes Center for Truck and Transit Research (GLCTTR) at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI), for the Winter 1999 semester. The work primarily is to develop an interactive web structure for the official GLCTTR university web-site.

I worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant for Prof. Jonathan Levine in Fall 1998 semester, for the Transportation and Society Seminar course that was offered in the forth-coming Winter semester 1999. I was entrusted with the task of making arrangements for the successful staging of the seminar, including preparing the schedule of the speakers, contacting them and making reservations, food, venue, travel arrangements, publicity, etc. This work was really interesting, but equally tiring ! : )

This was my third assignment for the UP519 Urban Design Class where I was required to take up a subject that described its relevance to Urban Design. It dealt primarily with procuring and getting familiarized with the vast resources of literature available on Urban Design concepts and topics.
